Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in improving learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education at SDN 1 Belimbing. Online learning is a form of delivery of conventional learning which is poured in digital format through the internet network. Online learning is considered to be the only medium for delivering material between teachers and students during the Covid-19 pandemic emergency. The problems faced in online learning are related to the low student learning outcomes, especially in Hindu Religious Education subjects. In connection with this, the purpose of this study are : 1) To find out the implementation of online learning in improving the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education at SDN 1 Belimbing, 2) To find out the obstacles faced in improving the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education at SDN 1 Belimbing, 3) To find out the efforts made in improving the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education at SDN l Belimbing. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interview techniques to obtain data about learning activities during online learning. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of online learning at SDN 1 Belimbing can run well and smoothly although there are some obstacles to the limitations of learning support facilities such as the absence of devices and limited internet quota used in online learning. The key to the success of online learning lies in the creativity of teachers in making varied learning models so that learning becomes more fun and students do not feel bored even though they study from home and good communication and cooperation between teachers and parents are needed so that student learning outcomes in Hindu Religious Education subjects can be further improved.
