Abstract

This qualitative ethnographic study aims to examine and formulate the Best Practice Model of the SAPA Literacy Strategy (Sinergy, Action, Learning, Appreciation) in strengthening the School Literacy Movement at SD No. 3 Kutuh. The study methodology involved participatory observation and in-depth interviews. The implementation of SAPA as a new school structure confronted the existing habitus, creating dualistic challenges, namely structural and psychological. The results show that SAPA successfully transformed the literacy culture into a collective Habitus. Its implications include the shift in student roles to highly autonomous peer tutors and the improvement of teacher performance as good practice models and curriculum integrators. The final contribution is the formulation of a Best Practice Model proving that the School Literacy Movement can be replicated through a structured framework supported by the principle of Positive Reinforcement, ensuring program sustainability.
