The process of interaction in the success of students to achieve the desired achievements between teaching components is very important in the progress of education to achieve the expected goals. Based on observations at SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar, environmental conditions were found to be less conducive, because the SMA is located close to the road and in the city center. Situations and conditions like this affect the ongoing teaching and learning process, such as noise and the number of vehicles passing by, so that students' attention can be disturbed.
This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar on students with the subjects of this research being Hindu students. Based on data analysis in the initial reflection which still showed that student learning outcomes were still lacking, research was carried out by applying the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model in Hindu Religious Education learning to improve student learning outcomes. The action hypothesis in this research is that if the TAI model is used in learning, it is hoped that student learning outcomes will increase. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive technique. The research results show that using the TAI model can improve the learning of Hindu Religious Education for students at SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar, this is shown by increasing student learning outcomes from the initial/pre and after implementing the TAI model in the learning process.
