PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJAAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SDN 2 SINDUWATI

This study was structured with the aim of increasing learning achievement in Hindu Religious Education through the application of the STAD learning model to Grade V students. This research was a classroom action research carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 13 students of Class V in the first semester of SD Negeri 2 Sinduwati. Data collection in this study was carried out by the test method. The data obtained from the test method were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study show that the application of a contextual approach can improve learning achievement in Hindu Religious Education, this shows the results of student tests at the end of each cycle. In the pre-cycle the average was obtained, namely 68 in the first cycle to 76 and in the second cycle to 82. The percentage of completeness of the pre-cycle learning outcomes was 21%, in the first cycle it was 53% and in the second cycle it became 93%. As explained in the data, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD Cooperative Learning learning model has succeeded in increasing learning achievement in the subject of Hindu Religious Education in Class V students at SD Negeri 2 Sinduwati.
