Abstract

Seeing and reading the cultural reality that occurs in Tana Ai today, that is experiencing a serious decline. This can be seen in the thinking framework of the Tana Ai people today. On the other hand they are influenced by cultures from Tana Ai and include western culture. Reading that concern this research aims to introduce a framework of thinking and paradigm of life and become a guideline and invitation for the people of Tana Ai NTT. According to the Tana Ai people, building relationships with other people, the environment, and God is an important part of existence as a human being who continues to relate to this day. This philosophical value is reflected in the basis of life “Kebanara itu culture”. However, along with the advancement of Artificial Intelligence and syncretic culture, the application of this principle in daily life is decreasing or even disappearing. This can be seen from the increasing culture of cultural syncretism and violence triggered by factors of modernity, social and political jealousy, and increasingly rampant environmental damage. This research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The findings of this research show that the philosophical value of “Kebanara culture” can be a philosophical basis for the people of Tana Ai NTT to build good relationships with others, the environment, and the highest form. Therefore, this philosophical value needs to be explored, maintained and actualized in everyday life to create a society with more integrity.
