Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki konsep dan prinsip pengembangan game berbasis executive function, serta mengeksplorasi bukti-bukti empiris terbaru yang mendukung pengembangan game meluputi memori kerja, fleksibilitas berpikir dan kontrol diri. Metode penelitian ini adalah D&D (Design  and Development) berdasarkan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation) dari Robert Maribe Branch. Penelitian ini sebagai dasar strategi pengembangan game digital berbasis keterampilan executive function memiliki fokus penelitian berupa tahap desain pengembangan. Oleh karena itu tahapan implementasi dan evaluasi akan dilaksanakan pada penelitian selanjutnya. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan teknik analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian berfokus pada strategi dalam memfasilitasi keterampilan executive function berupa memori kerja, flexibilitas berpikir dan kontrol diri yang melibatkan mengingat, mengkategorisasikan dan level serta rintangan. Dengan demikian, artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi para peneliti, pengembang game, dan calon pendidik serta praktisi dalam pengembangan keterampilan eksekutif melalui game digital.
