Change in Article Format and Layout
Widya Duta: Journal of Social and Cultural Sciences
We are pleased to announce that Widya Duta: Journal of Social and Cultural Sciences has officially implemented a change to the article formatting and layout.
Starting with Vol. 21 No. 2 (2026), all articles published in Widya Duta will adopt a single-column (1-column) format, replacing the previous two-column (2-column) format.
This change is part of the journal's ongoing efforts to improve the readability, consistency, presentation, and overall quality of published articles, while providing a more accessible and comfortable reading experience for authors, reviewers, and readers.
Key Changes
- Previous format: Two-column (2-column) layout
- New format: Single-column (1-column) layout
- Effective from: Vol. 21 No. 2 (2026)
- The new format applies to all articles published from Vol. 21 No. 2 (2026) onward.
- Authors are requested to use the latest journal template for manuscripts submitted for publication in this issue and subsequent issues.
We hope that this change will contribute to a clearer, more systematic, and reader-friendly presentation of scholarly articles published in Widya Duta.
