REPRESENTASI BHAGAVAD GITA DI RUANG DIGITAL: ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS ATAS KOMENTAR NON-HINDU TERHADAP CUPLIKAN MAHABHARATA DI YOUTUBE

Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika wacana antaragama dalam kolom komentar YouTube pada cuplikan berbahasa Indonesia yang menampilkan dialog antara Kṛṣṇa dan Arjuna dalam Bhagavad Gita. Menggunakan kerangka Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), sebanyak enam belas komentar yang dipilih secara purposif dianalisis pada tiga tingkatan, yaitu struktur mikro teks, praktik wacana pada tingkat meso, dan konteks sosial pada tingkat makro. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya spektrum pragmalinguistik yang mencakup strategi penerjemahan teologis, penggunaan ungkapan mitigatif, pergeseran modus tutur dari bentuk interpretatif menuju bentuk imperatif, serta pengambilan posisi yang sering disertai dengan penegasan identitas keagamaan. Banyak komentator non-Hindu, khususnya pengguna Muslim, mengemukakan interpretasi inklusif yang menekankan nilai-nilai etika universal lintas tradisi. Namun demikian, wacana eksklusif juga muncul, yang mempertegas batas identitas dan membatasi keterbukaan dialogis. Fitur-fitur platform, termasuk visibilitas algoritmik, fungsi balasan dan tanda suka, serta pilihan pelokalan, memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk visibilitas dan legitimasi wacana tersebut. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ruang digital berfungsi sebagai arena negosiasi makna keagamaan yang sekaligus konstruktif dan diperdebatkan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas jumlah data serta mengkaji pola interaksi pengguna dan tata kelola platform.
