DEALING WITH AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR: IMPLEMENTING A TOKEN ECONOMY FOR CHILDREN IN A LEARNING CONTEXT

Abstrak

Intervensi psikologis berupa modifikasi perilaku pada anak-anak agresif di dalam kelas menggunakan metode token economy bertujuan untuk secara bertahap mengurangi perilaku yang tidak diinginkan dan memfokuskan pada perilaku yang diharapkan melalui pengumpulan token yang dapat ditukarkan dengan hadiah yang disukai. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen kasus tunggal, khususnya desain A-B-A', yang terdiri dari tiga fase: A (baseline), B (intervensi), dan A' (follow-up). Metode pengumpulan data mencakup penggunaan instrumen Diagnosis Perilaku Agresif, observasi, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Teknik analisis data melibatkan analisis data dalam kondisi (within-condition) dan antar kondisi (between-condition). Berdasarkan proses penelitian dari awal hingga akhir intervensi, hasil menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi perilaku pada siswa agresif di dalam kelas dapat membentuk perilaku belajar yang diharapkan, di mana siswa bersedia dan mampu menyelesaikan tugasnya secara mandiri tanpa perlu pengawasan terus-menerus dari guru. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi perilaku menggunakan metode token economy dapat secara efektif mengurangi perilaku agresif pada siswa selama pembelajaran di kelas.
