Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan permainan tradisional dalam mendukung perkembangan kemampuan numerik anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Daarul Muqimien. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil wawancara dan observasi menunjukan permainan tradional yang digunakan di RA daarul Muqimien untuk mengembangkan kemampuan numerik anak usia 5-6 tahun adalah Ular Tangga, Congklak dan Engklek. Permainan tradisional tersebut tidak hanya berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan numerik anak melainkan pada kemampuan lainnya seperti kemamuan kognitif, sosial dan motorik. Pada kemampuan Numerik permaina ular tangga, congklak, dan engklek secara efektif meningkatkan meliputi pengenalan angka, penjumlahan dan pengurangan serta penghitungan maju dan mundur. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mengadaptasi permainan untuk mendukung pembelajaran, sedangkan orang tua memperkuat proses tersebut melalui bimbingan di rumah. Selain itu, permainan ini juga membantu anak meningkatkan kemampuan sosial dan kerja sama melalui interaksi dengan teman-temannya selama bermain. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan fokus anak dan waktu pendampingan, pendekatan ini terbukti efektif menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan permainan tradisional yang lebih luas dalam pembelajaran numerik anak usia dini, khususnya dengan memperbanyak variasi permainan untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan individu anak.
