DEVELOPMENT OF SLINGSHOT BALL LEARNING MEDIA FOR EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN EARLY CHILDHOOD IN CEMPAKA KINDERGARTEN

Abstrak

Perkembangan emosional pada anak-anak adalah faktor utama yang memengaruhi sikap, nilai, dan perilaku mereka di masa mendatang. Aspek perkembangan ini membutuhkan perhatian khusus karena sangat penting untuk dibina sejak awal, khususnya pada masa kanak-kanak, yang sering disebut sebagai masa pembentukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, yaitu "Slingshot Ball," yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan perkembangan emosional anak usia dini serta berfungsi sebagai alat permainan edukatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengikuti prosedur Borg and Gall, melalui beberapa tahapan yang sistematis. Berbagai uji coba dilakukan, termasuk uji ahli media dan ahli materi, serta uji coba produk di TK Cempaka. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan media mendapat skor 85% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak," sementara penilaian dari ahli materi mencapai skor 90%, juga dengan kategori "Sangat Layak." Dengan demikian, produk media slingshot ball dapat digunakan oleh guru sebagai media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk mendukung perkembangan emosional anak usia dini.
