Yoga is a form of physical activity that can help improve flexibility, particularly in the lower back area. Lower back flexibility is the ability of muscles and joints to move optimally, making it crucial for supporting daily activities and preventing injury. Lack of stretching and physical activity can lead to decreased flexibility. One type of yoga exercise that can be used to improve flexibility is Chandra Kirana Yoga, which emphasizes stretching, breathing control, and body relaxation. This study aimed to determine the effect of Chandra Kirana Yoga on lower back flexibility in members of the Yoga Student Activity Unit (UKM) at I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Hindu State University, Denpasar. This study used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design, consisting of a one-group pre-test/posttest design. The sample consisted of 33 respondents selected using purposive sampling in accordance with the study's inclusion criteria. Lower back flexibility was measured using the Sit and Reach Test before and after 16 sessions of Chandra Kirana Yoga. Data analysis was performed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test followed by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that the average lower back flexibility before the intervention (pretest) was 28.18 cm and increased to 35.36 cm after the intervention (posttest), resulting in an average increase of 7.18 cm. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a significant effect of Chandra Kirana Yoga practice on lower back flexibility in members.
