Abstract

This study aims to examine gender ideology and the role of women in the RT text. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive interpretive type of study. The data is sourced from the RT manuscript that has been translated into Indonesian, supported by various relevant literature sources. Data were collected through observation, literature review, documentation, and text reading, then analyzed using content analysis and descriptive analysis. The results show that the RT text represents a gender ideology that positions women as ideal wives responsible for household harmony, reproductive health, and family welfare. In addition, women are also depicted as having roles as mothers, family health managers, economic actors, teachers, and pursuers of knowledge. These findings indicate that women have important functions in family and community life as represented in the RT text.
