This study aims to analyze the implementation of video-based learning media in Dharma Gita self-development activities at SD Negeri 2 Siangan, Gianyar Regency, focusing on teachers’ strategies, implementation constraints, and the impacts of video-based learning on students. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Informants were selected using purposive sampling and included the principal, Hindu Religious Education teacher, Dharma Gita instructor, and students participating in Dharma Gita self-development activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results indicate that teachers implemented video-based learning through material planning, the use of videos during learning activities, and videos as independent learning resources. The main constraints included limited electronic devices, unstable internet connections, limited mobile phone storage, teachers’ limited time to prepare videos, differences in students’ abilities, and the need for direct teacher assistance. Video-based learning increased students’ interest and motivation, understanding of the material, self-confidence, participation, active engagement, and independent learning. It also contributed to preserving Dharma Gita as part of Hindu cultural and religious values. Therefore, video-based learning media can effectively support Dharma Gita self-development activities while still requiring direct teacher guidance.
