TRADISI SIAT SAMBUK DALAM UPACARA PENGERUPUKAN DI DESA PAKRAMAN POHGENDING KECAMATAN PENEBEL KABUPATEN TABANAN (PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN AGAMA HINDU)

Hindu religious education can be understood through knowledge related to knowledge about Tri Hita Karana. This knowledge can make it easier to understand the belief in grace and how to serve the Creator. It is implemented in various ceremonies or rituals, one of which is the tradition in Pohgending Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. This tradition, namely a sacred ritual inherited from previous ancestors, still exists today and contains noble values, carried out at the Pengerupukan ceremony, precisely at Tilem Sasih Kasanga. The issues that will be discussed include: (1) the process of implementing siat sambuk in the Pengerupukan ceremony in Pohgending Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, (2) The function of carrying out the siat sambuk tradition in the Pengerupukan ceremony in Pohgending Village , Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, (3) The values of Hindu religious education contained in the Pengerupukan ceremony in Pohgending Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. This research uses qualitative research with religious theory, functional theory and value theory. The subjects of this research are figures from the community. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies to seek scientific validation of the data analyzed, so as to produce logical conclusions that can be justified. The results of this research will show (1) the implementation of the siat sambuk tradition begins with preparations by collecting the sambuk, praying/matur piuning, burning the sambuk then carrying out the performance of the siat sambuk tradition, (2) the function aims to ask Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa to give inner and outer, neutralizes negative forces and to destroy the Bhuta Kala qualities in humans, the fire on the sambuk symbolizes the eradication of the bad qualities of anger, envy and human greed. (3) Hindu religious education contained in the Siat Sambuk tradition, namely the values of Tattwa education, morals/ethics, aesthetics and social education values.
