Hatha Yoga Untuk Kesehatan Mental Anak Ditinjau Dari Jenis Kelamin

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh Hatha Yoga terhadap kesehatan mental anak, dengan mempertimbangkan perbedaan berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan model one shot case study yang melibatkan populasi sebanyak 23 anak yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Brief Mental Health Inventory (BMHI-12) dengan tingkat reliabilitas 0.824. Intervensi Hatha Yoga dilaksanakan selama dua bulan, dengan frekuensi dua kali pertemuan setiap minggu, masing-masing selama dua jam, di bawah bimbingan instruktur yoga yang kompeten. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji U Mann-Whitney, yang menghasilkan z score sebesar -1.274 dengan signifikansi 0.203. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam kesehatan mental antara anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan setelah mengikuti program Hatha Yoga. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi orang tua dan pendidik mengenai manfaat Hatha Yoga sebagai intervensi untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental anak tanpa memandang jenis kelamin.
