Gusti Ayu Dewi Setiawati

https://ojs.uhnsugriwa.ac.id/index.php/GW/article/view/4121

Made AnggreniI Gede Dharman Gunawan

https://ojs.uhnsugriwa.ac.id/index.php/GW/article/view/3283

The menjor tradition is not only a religious symbol, but also has values contained in it.
So far, this tradition has only been limited to complementing the ceremony, without knowing
the essence contained in it. This research was conducted in Padangaji Village, Selat,
Karangasem, using ethnographic methods to understand how the menjor tradition developed
and adapted to social and economic changes associated with the Tri Hita Karana philosophy.
In the context of Tri Hita Karana, the menjor tradition reflects a harmonious relationship with
God through divine symbols. In the pawongan aspect, the menjor tradition involves community
mutual cooperation, strengthening social ties, fostering unity, and building a sense of
togetherness in the community. In the palemahan aspect, the use of natural materials such as
bamboo, coconut leaves and plawa in making penjor shows concern for nature conservation.
In an ecological context, plants such as bamboo and palm oil have an important role in
preventing soil erosion and maintaining environmental sustainability. When the community still
retains the materials for making penjor from the surrounding environment, it will certainly
have positive implications for the ecosystem in the area. Character education is reflected in the
Menjor tradition, where religious values, social solidarity and environmental concern are
instilled through the implementation of this tradition.
I Kadek WidiantanaI Made SutajayaI Wayah Suja

Digital transformation is carried out to improve the quality of education and equitable access
to education. On the other hand, the character of generation Z and the development of
technology are very fast becoming challenges in education. Video-assisted learning in schools
is part of digital transformation in education that can motivate students to understand concepts.
Based on preliminary observations, SMP Negeri 2 Kahayan Hilir, Pulang Pisau district carried
out video-assisted Hindu religious education learning amid limited access to infrastructure and
access to technology. The conditions in this school are interesting to explore further to
understand the implementation of video-assisted Hindu religious education learning and
understand what are the obstacles and efforts made in learning Hindu religious education. This
study will be analyzed with cybernetic learning theory. The research method used is a
qualitative method to understand the meaning and condition of natural objects in the field.
Qualitative data is sourced from observations, interviews, and document studies. The data is
then reduced, presented and analyzed qualitatively to understand, explain, interpret, and look
for relationships among the data obtained, then draw conclusions and verify. The results
showed that video-assisted learning is easier for students to understand according to their
respective learning styles. In video-assisted learning, students focus more on the lesson. This
result is in accordance with cybernetic learning theory, namely the attention given by students
to the lesson will be easier to remember with different learning styles.
I Made Pustikayasa

Research related to the use of Candi Selogriyo as a source of learning Hindu history for high
school students has not been studied in depth by previous researchers. The purpose of this study
is to analyze the potential of Candi Selogriyo as a source of learning Hindu history for high
school students. This research uses qualitative methods. Research data uses literature studies
in the form of books, journals, and internet pages. The results showed that Candi Selogriyo has
the potential to be used as a source of learning Hindu history. The basis for this use is the
relationship between Candi Selogriyo and the curriculum of Indonesian History class X SMA /
MA KD 3.5 related to learning materials about the entry process of Hindu religion and culture
in Indonesia. The development of Candi Selogriyo material as a source of learning the history
of Hinduism during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom is the iconography of Hindu-style statues
during the Mataram Kuno Kingdom, the technology of building Hindu-style temples, and the
preservation of historical relics of Hindu-style temples. The model of using Candi Selogriyo as
a source of learning Hindu history for high school students can be done with systematic steps,
namely (1) identifying KD subjects in Indonesian History, (2) formulating learning objectives
and indicators, (3) reviewing the content of material at Candi Selogriyo, (4) designing learning
models and media, and (5) evaluating learning.
Naufal Raffi ArrazaqIrvan Tasnur

Equation of the Value of Education in Hindu Rites: Reviewing the Continuity of the Values of Education in the Rites of Birth, Marriage, and Death in the Hindu Religion is a Library Research. The aim of this study is to find the similarity of the values of education in the rituals of birth, marriage, and death in Hinduism. The journals that were reviewed came from various Hindu streams in Indonesia, Hindu Java, Kaharingan, and Bali. There are five journeys about birth ceremonies, five about marriages, and five about death. The results of this study found that the same values that exist in every ceremony or ritual in Hinduism are the value of philosophy education (Tatwa), which aims to teach people to understand the truth of life, pursue true science, and develop spiritually. Hindu Tatwa teaches us that life is a way to gain a deeper understanding of nature and ourselves. Tattwa also emphasizes principles such as honesty, self-awareness, love, and self-control. Ethical education values (Susila), or moral education in Hindu tradition, provide a solid foundation for society to develop good habits and morals. The best practice in carrying out this ceremony is based on the concept of the Tri Kaya Parisudha, which emphasizes the holiness, honesty, and faith in the life of Hyang Widhi. Based on the teachings of the Tri Kaya Parisudha, teaching good morals and ethics and good behavior in speaking, speaking, and acting is very important for family relationships. Through ritual education and ceremonies, individuals can learn about discipline, respect, spiritual awareness, communion, and purification. These values shape the individual's character and help them in everyday life. The researchers also found that some studies presented social and aesthetic values in some Hindu rituals, which highlighted social education, and good relationships between humans and the environment. It is evident from the way the merchandise is plotted according to Hindu teachings to produce a beautiful, clean, and fortunate offering.
Miming OktorianisarryI Gede Dharman GunawanTardi Edung

Changing behavior in students is one of the challenges for teachers who are professionals with
the task of educating students apart from teaching and also transforming the knowledge
possessed by a teacher in various fields. The changes in behavior that occur in today's students
can be seen from the decline in morals which is accompanied by the lack of śraddha and
devotion of students as religious people, especially those who are Hindu. The Vedas as the holy
book of Hindus not only guide religious life but also provide guidance for the life of the people
in various fields, one of which is in the scope of education. Vedic teachings have also provided
guidelines for the relationship between teachers and students. Changes in student behavior
from a Hindu religious perspective can lead to positive or negative actions. In classroom
management, teachers must master the problem of changes in student behavior that lead to
negative actions. In connection with this problem, this research examines approaches that can
be applied by a teacher to change students' character in a positive direction from a Hindu
religious perspective. This research is of a qualitative type with descriptive research
methodology. The results of this research are that three approaches are by the Hindu religious
perspective, namely: 1.) Authoritarian Approach; 2.) Emotional Approach; and 3.) Attitude
Approach.
I Gede Nanda Jaya PratamaNi Komang Sutriyanti
