The low concentration of the Hindu community in Pecatu Village during prayer rituals is significantly affected by internal thought disturbances and environmental noise from heavy traffic. This study aims to explore the application of mindfulness of breathing (Ānāpānasati) meditation, the factors influencing its practice, and its tangible benefits in enhancing concentration during Hindu prayers. Utilizing a phenomenological theoretical framework, this research applied a mixed-methods approach (convergent triangulation), combining quantitative data via Likert-scale questionnaires and qualitative data through in-depth interviews and observations of 20 purposively selected informants. The findings reveal that Ānāpānasati effectively transforms the practitioners' mental state from a "monkey mind" to one-pointedness. Statistically, the average concentration score increased significantly from a baseline of 3.93 to a post-practice score of 4.75. The breath acts as a robust anchor, shielding practitioners from external distractions and facilitating deep spiritual absorption (Samadhi). The novelty of this research lies in the successful integration of Buddhist breathing techniques into Hindu devotional practices (Bhakti Marga) in high-noise environments. Furthermore, the holistic benefits of this practice extend beyond religious rituals, positively impacting the practitioners' daily stress management and work productivity.
