Strukturisasi Upacara Agama dalam Desa Sapta Wara di Desa Adat Selulung Kecamatan Kintamani Kabupaten Bangli

Abstract

The activities of the desa sapta wara organization vary at each level. All activities of desa sapta wara are an educational process, which in essence is to shape attitudes and mentality to get closer to God which is realized in the form of ngayah. The desa sapta wara organization consists of 8 (eight) levels, where each level consists of a left-right sahing (pair), so that the total number of desa sapta wara organizations is 16 sahing (pairs). Each level has different duties according to its level position. The level position is based on seniority, namely the sequence number of munggah madesa (registration as an indigenous citizen). This research is an effort to preserve the noble culture of the nation and state, so that the survival of traditional values among the community, especially in the Selulung Traditional Village is increasingly strong. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research type. The data collection method used was the direct observation method on the research object, namely observation, interviews, and literature studies. This research serves as a reference for Hindu communities in carrying out their religious activities, including tattwa (philosophy), suśīla (ethics), and acara (rituals).
