Abstract

The Ngusabha Ketipat Ceremony in Pakraman Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency is one of the unique ceremonies that is only held in Jungutan village. The purpose of this research is to show one of the unique ceremonies as a heritage owned by Hindus, where this ceremony is routinely held once a year every Purnama Kedasa. The method used in this article is a qualitative method and uses a phenomenological approach which is described descriptively. The data in this article were obtained through direct observation and interviews with sources selected by purposive sampling. Ngusabha Ketipat is carried out as a form of gratitude to God for providing abundant harvests to the residents of the jungutan community, most of whom work as farmers, also asking to always be blessed with abundant harvests and to be kept away from pests that cause losses. The main upakara facility of this ceremony is the ketupat, therefore, this ceremony is called Ngusabha Ketipat.
