The techniques and tools for obtaining data are the test method in the form of student work sheets, the observation method in the form of student response assessment format, and the questionnaire method in the form of written questions along with answer choices and data processed using descriptive statistical methods. Applying the drill and practice learning model succeeded in improving the ability to aksara wresastra and pangangge suara characters in class III A SD No. 3 Benoa 2018/2019 school year. This can be seen from the average value of the test results in the first cycle of 79.8 or 71.87% with sufficient predicate, and increased in the second cycle stage by 81.42 or 93.75% with a good predicate. The purpose of this research is to reveal the linguistic aspects in the textbooks of Pangkaja Sari SMP Class IX, especially from the morphological processes including affixation, reduplication, and composition. The source of the data for this research is the Balinese Pangkaja Sari textbook for SMP Class IX. The theory used is the theory of structural linguistics. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research. The data collection method used is observation and literature. The data analysis used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the research conducted, it is known that in the Balinese language textbook Pangkaja Sari SMP Class IX found the morphological processes of the Balinese language including the processes of affixation, reduplication and composition. The results showed that (1) The morphological processes of Balinese words in the Balinese language textbook Pangkaja Sari SMP Class IX are: Affixation includes the addition of prefixes {N-}, {ma-}, {ka-}, {pa- }, {sa-}; addition of suffixes {-a}, {-ang}, {-in}, {-an}, {-é}, {-né}, {-n} and {-ing}; addition of {-in-} and {-um-} infixes; addition of confixes {pa-an}, {ka-an}, and {ma-an}; affix combination {N-ang}. Reduplication includes pure repeat words, sound change words, pseudo repeats and dwipurwa repeats. But unfortunately, the use of Javanese language has begun to fade, which can be proven by the neglect of the use of Javanese language in conversation, and not a few people also do not know Javanese language, including verbs. There are many verbs in the Javanese language, but the researcher wants to focus on the verb washing "kumbah" in Javanese language analysed with the theory of Metabahasa Semantik Alami (MSA). The verb wash "kumbah" has 11 forms of equivalents asah-asah, ngumbahi, wijik, wisuh, mususi, raup, sibin, kemu, kramas, jamasan, and padusan. Of all the "kumbah" washing verbs, there are differences in each verb which can be seen from the procedure for washing and the object being washed. The verb wash "kumbah" in Javanese has a different object in its application, and can be explained by using the explication A wants B to become C. The difference in meaning is obtained by analysing the meaning of the verb. One of the contents of this geguritan has a character education message, namely Geguritan Sampik. This Geguritan tells the story of a man and a woman named Sampik and Ingtai who fall in love until they vow to live as husband and wife for life. But when talking about the existence of geguritan in this day and age, it is increasingly receding people know and diligent as in the Ubung Kaja Village community. There are three problems in this study, namely (1) the narrative structure in Geguritan Sampik (2) character education in Geguritan Sampik (3) the existence of Geguritan Sampik in the community in Ubung Kaja Village. The theories used are (1) structuralism theory, (2) value theory (3) function theory. The study was conducted using qualitative methods. This study found the narrative structure of Geguritan Sampik and the study of character education in Geguritan Sampik. The narrative structure in this literary work includes Incident, plot, character and characterization, setting, theme, and mandate. Meanwhile, the character education obtained in Geguritan Sampik is religious, honest, hardworking, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, and responsible. This novelty can be seen in the use of language that is mixed with Indonesian and English which is called code mixing. One of them is a collection of short stories about the yellow butterfly Ngindang di Candidasa by I Ketut Sandiyasa. In this literary work, there are many code-mixing in the presentation. One of them is in the title of the certification short story, which as a wholeuses more Indonesian than Balinese. The type of data used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This story is a continuation of Old Javanese literature which existed rapidly during the Majapahit Empire. In Bali, this story is written on palm leaves (called ntal) in geguritan form or song story. That’s a continuation of Old Javanese literature which developed rapidly during the glory of the Gelgel Kingdom era. In Lombok, the Cupak Gurantang story is also a continuation of Old Javanese literature, is written in palm leaves too (called takepan) in the Sasak language. The main problem that becomes the topic of discussion include three question. How are existed the Cupak Gerantang story in Bali and Lombok. How are similarties of the Cupak Gerantang story in Bali and Cupak Gurantang story in Lombok. How to use the Cupak Gerantang story for Balinese and Lombok people. Data collection used in-depth interviews, observation, and literature. This method is used to collect qualitative data from primary and secondary data. Based on the results of data collection, the Cupak Gerantang story in Bali and Lombok have similarities. The similarities appear in the origins, storylines, values, and moral messages. The difference lies in the location setting, the names of the supporting characters, and the method of staging. Both, in Bali and Lombok the Cupak Gurantang story used as entertainment, information media, suggestive function, and veiled resistance. In this story contain to as moral values ​​including the value of togetherness, mutual help, and ethics.
